Stare into darkness,

or look beyond glass to the

light from the soundless.

Who engraves a name in shifting sands.

Your name falls as hope;

skin warm, wrapped in your arms.

Sorrows, they are calmed.

Hand held within reach;

to stretch takes a little strength.

Firm will be the hold.

His the heart, matching the one I have.

Violet pulls on dusky hues;

sat beside a crimson drape,

ice in glass now melting.

and weary voice;

if no ear,

an echo to hear.

How to know

of reach.
