Face turned on time gone,

sage wisdom lost to a song.

Soundless garland scent.

You say it was dark,

you fell before you had light.

Talk, I’m listening.

In your own castle

there’s no matter to wonder.

You’re all lips and hands.

No need to keep time,

or note the distance we’ve walked.

We’ll just keep walking.

Cold lips on closed eyes,

Winter ends with a Spring rise.

As mountains to skies.

Sat

Sat in standing pool,

unsure of three depths below.

Leaping through waves.

Upward turns gaze,

floor of seven parts above.

Where flying things go.

Eyes hold unfilled hours,

heavy dreams without sleep.

A heart unguarded.

Dry is the dreaming,

from me too far you’re sleeping.

The touch too fleeting.

Close Enough

Give me your word

and I’ll return to you three,

not one holds pity.

Why the languid steps,

when arms are lifted like wings

using chains for strings.
