You ask

for my wholeness.

Once again,

I say

‘I am scattered’.

Gaze on a real world,

beyond the darkened windows.

Pieces less a puzzle.

How long did you

stay alive

without breath?

Now rise up

from depths,

fully dressed alone.

Ghosts you chase

it has been shown,

breathe deeply

breathe in slowly.

Slowness on you

I will not force,

it is known

hearts in exile

turn to stone.

Fever, fever, skin cold.

Blue lips, pulled in breath.

Ears new to own

Some want adventure,

few throw

caution to the wind.

Fewer breach the horizon.

Having walked

hundred thousand

mile walk,

ten thousand thoughts

for one dream.

Love is not real unless we have the ability to not love.
